- Can I refill both retail and home delivery prescriptions on Walgreens.com?
Yes. You can view your complete prescription history and refill all eligible medications on Walgreens.com. Submit your refill request and we'll send an email or text message when your prescription is ready for pickup. For home delivery prescriptions, we'll notify you of your order status via email.
- What should I do if I run out of home delivery refills?
If your prescription is currently set up on Auto Refill, we'll automatically contact your prescribing physician to renew your prescription. If your prescription isn't set up on Auto Refill, you may request a prescription refill online and we'll contact your doctor. You may also call 866-525-1590 with your prescription information and we'll take care of the rest.
- How do I request a new Home Delivery prescription?
Requesting a new Home Delivery prescription is easy. Just provide some basic information on your prescription and we'll contact your prescriber.
- How do I transfer a Home Delivery prescription from another pharmacy to Walgreens?
Transferring a Home Delivery prescription to Walgreens is easy. Just provide some information on prescription you'd like to transfer and the pharmacy that filled it. We’ll do the rest.
- What if I need an emergency supply of my home delivery prescription?
Please call your nearest Walgreens pharmacy. If you're unable to reach them, call our toll-free number at 866-525-1590 with your prescription information. We'll contact your physician for a new prescription to arrive the next business day; overnight shipping charges apply.
- Can I set my prescriptions to be filled automatically?
If your plan allows automatic refills, you'll see the Auto Refill button to the right of your prescriptions. Simply "turn on" Auto Refills for that prescription. You can also set up automatic refills under the Auto Refills column.
- Can I transfer a retail prescription to my Home Delivery Pharmacy?
If you're currently filling your maintenance medication at a Walgreens Retail Pharmacy, check with your insurance provider. If you're eligible for a three-month home delivery supply, call our Home Delivery Pharmacy at 866-525-1590 with your prescription information and we'll take care of the rest.
- If I have a non-Walgreens retail prescription, can I transfer to Home Delivery Pharmacy?
If you have an eligible prescription that has been filled by another pharmacy, ask your prescriber to submit a new prescription to Home Delivery Pharmacy. If your prescriber has e-prescribing software, they can electronically prescribe your medication and submit it to us.
- Can I pick up a home delivery prescription at my local Walgreens retail pharmacy?
Please contact your insurance provider. If you're eligible, call your local Walgreens pharmacy with your prescription information and we'll take care of the rest. Your copay may change when you begin to fill the prescription at a local Walgreens-consult with your pharmacist for more information.
- Can I speak to a pharmacist directly?
Yes. Please call us at 866-525-1590 to speak to a Walgreens pharmacist.
- What's the difference between mail service and home delivery?
"Mail service" and "home delivery" both describe the pharmacy service (based on your health benefit) that allows you to receive a 90-day supply of your medication, delivered to your home. "Home delivery" is the term we'll use for this service going forward.
